Call for Nominations 2025
The Kofi Annan Foundation and the Democracy and Culture Foundation invite nominations for the third edition of the Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Award. The award is only open to nominees between the ages of 18 and 30. Additionally, please note that the nomination period for the 2025 Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Award is from 21 January 2025 until 31 March 2025. The awardee will be notified by July 2025.
How to Nominate a Young Leader for the 2025 Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize
Nominations can only be submitted by organizations, and nominees must be aged between 18 and 30 at the time of their nomination.
Organisation representatives: Please send your completed nomination to nominations@democracyculturefoundation.org by midnight CET, 31 March 2025
Nominations must include all of the following:
- Completed Submission Form
- A Cover Letter of support (max 500 words)
- Short video testimony from the nominee (2 minutes max, can be shot on a smartphone)
